Bullying & Harassment Prevention in the Workplace (designed & delivered by Heart HR) provides employees and managers with a clear, practical understanding of what inappropriate workplace behaviour looks like, why it matters, and how everyone plays a role in preventing it. Designed to be engaging and accessible, the program helps participants recognise unacceptable and unlawful behaviour early, and understand the impact on individuals and organisations.

What constitutes inappropriate workplace behaviour, including bullying, harassment, discrimination, sexual harassment, and victimisation

The legal definition of workplace bullying

The difference between bullying and reasonable management action, such as performance management and constructive feedback

Common bullying behaviours, including cyber bullying and subtle, cumulative conduct

How harassment and discrimination can occur, including one-off incidents

Audience Fit and Notes
This course builds awareness of key legal obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act, including employers' duty of care to eliminate or minimise risks; the Fair Work Act, including bullying protections; anti-discrimination laws; and the Respect@Work framework. It equips every employee and manager with the knowledge, confidence, and accountability to recognise inappropriate behaviour early and play their part in preventing harm, supporting a safer, more respectful workplace culture and the organisation's broader legal and compliance obligations.
