Course Overview
The Accredited First Aid & CPR Training course is a nationally recognised, RTO-delivered program designed to equip Australian workplaces with the life-saving knowledge, skills, and confidence to respond to medical emergencies on-site or in the field. What Participants Learn

Emergency response basics: scene assessment, the DRSABCD action plan, and legal and ethical responsibilities under Australian standards

CPR techniques: hands-on practice for adults, children, and infants (HLTAID009)

Safe and effective use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)

Basic Emergency Life Support (HLTAID010)

Common injuries and conditions: managing bleeding, shock, fractures, burns, anaphylaxis, and seizures

Medical emergencies: response to heart attacks, strokes, asthma, diabetes, and poisoning

Practical, real-world scenarios tailored to on-site and travel-based workplace risks

This course is fully compliance-guaranteed and meets Safe Work Australia guidelines, Work Health & Safety (WHS) regulations, the National Construction Code (NCC).
Audience Fit and Notes
On successful completion, participants receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment: HLTAID011 Provide First Aid (incorporating HLTAID009 and HLTAID010) is valid for 3 years with an annual CPR refresher and earns 12 CPD points; HLTAID009 Provide CPR Only is valid for 12 months and earns 4 CPD points.
